About Dr. Alyssa Nowlen
Dr. Alyssa Nowlen graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA School of Dentistry. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association and Western Los Angeles Dental Association. Presently, she serves as a guest on the Board Directors for the California Dental Association Foundation which aims to improve the oral health of all Californians by meeting community needs through programs and grant opportunities to reduce barriers to dental care in underserved populations. She enjoys helping her patients improve their oral health not only through appropriate dental care in the office, but also addressing nutrition, systemic health, and the habits that can affect gum and tooth health outside of the dental chair. She believes in meeting her patients halfway to find effective and sustainable steps to help them achieve their dental health goals.
